Besides the fact that this is my dream car, the service was also very personal, fast, attentive. The car was new and perfect. It was nice to have a trustable car when driving in the mountains. We had so much fun during our trip. Also the rental price was all in, no surprises, and compared to other companies cheaper when all things add up. We had let Ed know we were planning an off-road tour of Albania and asked if he had a well-equipped 4x4 for the job. Upon arrival at the airport, our Jimny was waiting for us, complete with a reinforced skid plate and side protection. For 10 days, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves tackling off-road routes—ranging from mud to rocky terrain—amidst incredible landscapes and nature. It was so beautiful that we only managed to cover central and southern Albania. Thanks also to Ed for the route tips. The Jimny got us through everything without a hitch. We did have two flat tires, but the Jimny couldn't help that! :-) Excellent service. Just do it! We were arranging everything at the last minute, but were only treated with patience and willingness. Ed and everybody were most helpful, very kind and made us feel like friends, not clients. Also added some great tips on what to visit or where to get the best meal. The car itself brings you anywhere you ask without a trace of hesitation. Literally anywhere! And in the city you park easily thanks to its small size, so you're free to explore Albania through and through. We also felt really safe knowing, that if anything goes wrong, we can contact Ed and his team directly and support is just a message away. To summarize: more than fair price, above-standard treatment, reliable car and overall just top experience. So if you're looking for an off-road 4x4 rental, this is THE ONE. Would absolutely come back. We just finished a two-week road trip through Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, and Bosnia with the Suzuki Jimny and enjoyed every moment of it. The vehicle was in excellent condition and performed incredibly both on and off the road. Its compact size made it easy to navigate narrow roads, tight city streets, and small parking spaces, while still being capable enough for rugged mountain roads and off-road adventures. We were also impressed by how fuel-efficient it was. The Jimny felt perfectly at home in the mountains, yet still looked great alongside some of the supercars we crossed paths with on our trip. Ed was incredibly supportive throughout the trip, providing all the necessary documentation for border crossings, sharing great local recommendations, and always being available if we needed assistance. His communication and support gave us peace of mind throughout the journey. After researching nearly every 4x4 rental company in Tirana, I genuinely believe Drive Albania Suzuki Jimny Rentals is one of the best automatic 4x4 options available.
